Safety

A sanctuary is only a sanctuary if it feels safe.

Safety at whisperam is built in layers: how you appear, how content is reviewed, and how you can act when something is wrong.

Anonymous participation

Every account uses an alias. Your real identity, email, and login provider are never shown to other users. You choose what you share, one whisper at a time.

Content moderation

A dedicated moderation team reviews reports, patterns, and flagged content. Automated checks help surface obvious violations quickly; humans handle nuance.

Reporting tools

Every whisper, comment, and Crossroad has a report option. Choose the reason that best fits — harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, doxxing, or other — and add any context that helps us act quickly. Reports are confidential.

Privacy protection

We minimize what we collect, avoid tracking across sites, and never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Community safety measures

  • Rate limits and spam detection to prevent flooding.
  • Blocking and muting so you can shape your own experience.
  • Hidden and archived states so removed content does not resurface.
  • Transparent guidelines you can hold us accountable to.

If you are in crisis

whisperam is a place to be heard, but it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing serious emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, or a mental health emergency, please reach out to a qualified professional or emergency service in your area.
