Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why.

Privacy is a design choice here. This page explains, in plain language, what we hold and how we treat it.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email or authentication provider identifier used to sign in, and the alias auto-generated for you.
  • Content you create: whispers, prompt responses, comments, Crossroads, drafts, bookmarks, and reactions.
  • Technical data: minimal device and request information required to keep the service running securely.

How we use it

  • To operate features you use, such as posting, reactions, and notifications.
  • To protect the community through moderation, safety, and abuse prevention.
  • To improve reliability and troubleshoot issues.
  • We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising profiles.

Account privacy

Your real identity is never shown alongside your posts. Other users see only your alias and the content you choose to publish.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Security practices

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to a small number of authorized staff and audited. Reports and moderation notes are stored separately from public content.

Data retention

Content you publish is retained until you delete it or delete your account. Deleted content is removed from public view immediately and purged from backups on a rolling schedule. Account records are removed within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your rights

  • Access — view the content associated with your account at any time.
  • Correction — edit drafts and update your profile details.
  • Deletion — delete individual posts or your entire account from Settings.
  • Contact — reach us through the Contact page for any privacy request.
