How do I create an account?
Choose 'Join Anonymously' from the top nav. Sign in with a supported provider — we only use it to authenticate you. You are given an anonymous alias automatically.
How do I delete my account?
Open your Profile, scroll to the Delete account section, type 'delete' to confirm, and your account and content will be removed.
Aliases
What is my alias?
Your alias is an anonymous, randomly generated name shown next to your posts. Your real identity is never displayed.
Can I change my alias?
Aliases stay stable so your body of work is recognizable, but moderators can reset an alias if it needs to change for safety reasons.
Whispers
What is a Whisper?
A Whisper is a short, anonymous post — a confession, a thought, a story. It appears in the feed and can receive reactions and comments.
How do I post a Whisper?
From the feed, tap the compose button, write your Whisper, pick a category, and publish. You can save it as a draft first.
Prompts
What is a Prompt?
A Prompt is a shared question or theme, refreshed daily. Anyone can add a response, which appears on the Prompt's page.
Crossroads
What is a Crossroad?
A Crossroad is an emotional dilemma with two or more options. Others quietly vote on what they would do.
Reactions
Why no likes?
We replaced likes with empathy — 'I Relate', 'Stay Strong', 'You're Brave', 'Sending Love'. It reframes engagement from popularity to care.
Comments
How do comments work?
Comments are anonymous replies tied to your alias. Follow the Community Guidelines — moderation applies here too.
Bookmarks
How do I bookmark a post?
Tap the bookmark icon on any Whisper, Prompt response, or Crossroad. Find them later in your Sanctuary under Bookmarks.
Drafts
How do drafts work?
Any unpublished Whisper or response is saved as a draft. Edit or publish it from Sanctuary → Drafts.
How do I edit a draft?
Open Sanctuary → Drafts, choose the draft, and continue writing. When ready, publish it.

What is my Sanctuary?
Sanctuary is your private space — Whispers, Bookmarks, Drafts, Achievements, and Notifications, all in one place.
Notifications
Where do I see notifications?
Open the bell icon in the header for the latest, or go to Sanctuary → Notifications for the full list with filters.
Post IDs
What is a Post ID?
Every published post has a short, shareable ID (like p/abc123). Share the link to link back to the post without revealing anything about you.
Reporting
How do I report content?
Every post and comment has a report option. Pick the reason, add context if it helps, and submit — reports are confidential.
Deleting
Can I delete a post I made?
Yes. Open the post, choose delete, and confirm. Deleted posts are removed from public view immediately.

How do I find new content?
Use the Feed for the latest Whispers, Prompts for daily questions, and Crossroads for dilemmas — or search by category.
